"Learning and Living in Diverse Communities" was the theme of the conference that took place in the House of Civic Communities in the city of Pécs, Hungary, in June 2019. It was the 11th conference which the specialized network on “Between Global and Local – Adult Learning and Communities” of the European Society on the Research for the Education of Adults (ESREA) has been organizing ever since 2006.

Knowledge Exchange Associate - SDGs in Urban Settings, CoSS

A new post as a Knowledge Exchange Associate, working within the College of Social Sciences (CoSS) Research Support Office at the University of Glasgow is now available. The post holder will be responsible for the identification, development and implementation of new collaborative Knowledge Exchange (KE) opportunities for the Inequalities and Sustainable Development in Low- and Middle-Income Country (LMIC) Cities research group, under the supervision of Professors Sayantan Ghosal, Michael Osborne, Fabrice Renaud and Alastair Leyland.

Everybody should become a tutor in the community: CR&DALL Seminar, 29th January 2020 - Tiina Tambaum

In the twenty-first century non-professional tutors, including teenagers, have an important role to play in the development of contemporary skills among the older population.  The aim of the seminar is to describe the instructional design for teenage tutors' instruction in order to prepare them to become a facilitator for older persons’ in e-skill learning.

The 7th Edition of the L4WB Magazine is live!

The Learning for Well-being Magazine is published online twice a year (Spring & Autumn) and the articles are free to download.

Each issue explores a theme of interest for all those who wish to expand their perspectives on creating and encouraging inclusive and supportive societies, cultivating capacities and environments that place well-being at the centre of all our endeavours. The themes are explored from multiple perspectives by inviting contributors who work (and learn) in different fields, professions, disciplines and countries.
