I would like to thank all of our subscribers for their support for CR&DALL during the last year and hope you all had a restful and enjoyable Holiday break. If you follow our Digest newsletters you will see that it was a busy year with some very notable successes that we hope will enhance the quality of research in adult education and improve opportunities for adults and their teachers.

Notable has been the award within the Erasmus Mundus programme for a new Masters in Adult Education for Social Change led by my colleague Dr Bonnie Slade, and a Horizon 2020 project led in Glasgow by another colleague Dr Oscar Valiente from the Robert Owen Centre concerned with policies supporting young adults in their life course, and also involving his ROC colleagues and CR&DALL member, Dr Lesley Doyle.

You will also see shortly that Oscar together with Professor Andy Furlong of ROC will be leading a collaborative project with Chilean colleagues funded by the UK ESRC and its Chilean counterpart also on young people's transition. There has been much more, and there is much more to come. This includes a series of events related to community development to be offered in the New Year, details of which are below and attached.
