The College of Social Sciences at the University of Glasgow invites expressions of interest from external candidates wishing to apply for UKRI Future Leaders Fellowships.
Open to both UK and international applicants, the UKRI Future Leaders scheme provides funding from both UK Research and Innovation, and from the University of Glasgow to support Fellowships of 4+3 years in duration. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate not only independence of research and thought leadership, but will also demonstrate skilled communication, leadership, and an ability to develop new relationships and influence across multiple sectors.
Fellowships will support applicants from diverse career paths, including those returning from a career break or following time in other roles.
The University of Glasgow will provide a generous package of support to successful Fellows, and would be pleased to hear from potential candidates. After discussion with a potential host School or Institute, candidates will be required to submit the attached pro-forma to be considered in the internal selection process. Successful candidates in this process will be supported to apply to the UKRI call.
